My roommate is a nurse and was infected from a patient who tested negative from the hospital who transferred the patient and then tested positive at her hospital. Which test is correct? My roommate tested positive. I tested negative but have all the same symptoms, just not as bad as she does. Are you saying that I have something else, despite living with someone who has COVID and my symptoms started about 24 hours after hers? I just randomly got a different illness at the same time? I don’t know everything by any means, and when I talk to people, I make it clear that I tested negative, I never just say I had COVID. But the dots sure all seem to connect.
